Wow, where does the time go? May has come and gone; with the help of some strong winds. Now that power has been restored to most of the province and your firewood collection has likely increased, it’s time to welcome in June.
As you should have an approved action plan by now (if not, give us a call and we can help get back on track), we wanted to take this time to remind you of the resources we have available to you on the Dunk Excellence Portal in order to make the implementation of your topics as smooth as possible.
The Dunk Excellence Portal is much more than just an introductory accessory to the program. We encourage all our members to take some time to get familiar with the Portal and its resources as it will definitely make your HSEp journey more efficient. You can access the Dunk Excellence Portal at www.dunkexcellence.com .
The Portal offers a variety of resources for each topic and we encourage you to R&D (rob and duplicate) our resources so that you are not reinventing the wheel. Work smarter, not harder, right?!

For specific resources related to your selected topics, look under the “Foundation Topics”, “Intermediate Topics” and “Advanced Topics” features on the left-hand side menu of the portal. There you will find policy templates (that meet the WSIB topic requirements), safety talks/posters, training recordings and more. If you cannot find what you are looking for under your topic header, send us an email at excellence@systems24-7.com and we will do our best to provide you with the resources you need. Keep in mind, your request must be related to your selected topics.
Under the “Competency Building & Recordings” feature, again on the left-hand side menu, you will find a list of all our upcoming HSEp webinars to register for as well as the upcoming mandatory Guidance & Instruction webinars. Below the upcoming webinars are the recorded Excellence webinars from the current year. All “Competency Building – Excellence Topic-Specific Training” webinars, can be found under the specific topic resources as mentioned above.
Need some clarification on the difference between the Training and Communication step? Are you unsure of how to properly develop and implement an action plan?
